Studio di complessi supramolecolari e di composti di coordinazione con lo scopo di studiare fenomeni di riconoscimento molecolare e spiegare la

correlazione struttura-proprietà attraverso diffrazione dei raggi X da cristallo singolo. L'attività è svolta in collaborazione con vari gruppi della Unità

di Chimica Organica, Fisica e Industriale del Dipartimento.

 

 

The current scientific activity, carried out in collaboration with various national and international groups, as well as with the Unità di Chimica Organica,

Fisica e Industriale of our Department the mainly involves:

Study of supramolecular structures through X-ray diffraction on single crystals, and through theoretical calculations, focusing on molecular recognition phenomena.

Structural characterisation of coordination complexes of transition metals in order to elucidate correlations between their structural, chemical and physical properties.
