Attività

Ci occupiamo della sintesi, preparazione e caratterizzazione di materiali funzionali nanostrutturati, utili per preservare, rafforzare e proteggere i manufatti contro la degradazione biotica e abiotica, e per il trattamento degli inquinanti organici e inorganici presenti nelle acque. Questi materiali includono: (i) polimeri ibridi ammidoamminici funzionalizzati per coordinare ioni metallici; (ii) nanocellulosa cristallina dispersa in acqua per il rinforzo di materiali lignocellulosici e come supporto per molecole attive; (iii) biossido di titanio drogato selenio con aumentata attività fotocatalitica.

 

The research activity deals with the synthesis and characterization of nanostructured functional materials, useful to preserve, strengthen and protect artifacts against biotic and abiotic degradation and for the treatment of organic and inorganic pollution in wastewater. These materials include: (i) hybrid polyamido amines differently functionalized able to coordinate to metal ions in solution, (ii) crystalline nanocellulose dispersed in water for the preservation of lignocellulosic materials and as support for active molecules, (iii) Se doped TiO2 with enhanced photocatalytic activity.
